West Coast electronics chain Fry's closes all their stores with no notice

Used to visit the one in Las Vegas on Las Vegas Blvd all time during it's heyday. It was a fun store and close to Whole Foods. I guess Covid was the last straw but apparently they were in trouble for years.

My dad and I bought WebTV there back in 1998. Our first introduction to the Internet. Was always a fun store to go to.

This sort of thing has happened several times in that industry over the years. More so than any other industry I think

I use to frequent Frys a couple times a week. Would buy up several hundred dollars of electronics for resale on Ebay. Made a killing for a couple of years until market corrected itself..
